Who we are
The Owners Angela and Brian met at the Pen-y-Bont Hotel in 2005. Angela had been singing on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in Alaska and was staying at her parent's local holiday home nearby. From there she was to set out on the next phase of her life.
Meanwhile she had a part time bar job at the Pen-y-Bont Hotel. Brian walked in with his Mum and a friend. Mum had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and it was to be one last holiday while she was still enjoying life. From behind the bar Angela asked "what would you like to drink?" "What do you recommend?" he replied. "A pint of Butty Bach". "Okay, I'll have one of those".
In keeping with the romance of the location they fell in love and bought the place. Well, okay, I left some bits out but I'm sure you get the gist. Here we are now in 2017, having developed five letting rooms and transformed the business, and Mum having miraculously recovered to confound the medical profession. It has been an adventure worthy of a book but come along in the quiet winter months and we will be happy to share a story or two with you by the log fires! Whether sunshine or rain, or even snow, Angela and Brian welcome you to this Little Piece of Heaven on Earth.
